Keeping your storefront collections organized helps enhance the visibility and accessibility of your artwork. This guide will walk you through how to efficiently manage and organize your collections for an optimized browsing experience.
Access the Manage Your Storefront Section
Step 1: Log in to your Simply Framed account and go to the Manage Your Storefront section under the Listings tab.
Step 2: From here, you can see your current collections and begin organizing them.
Review Your Current Collections
Step 1: Familiarize yourself with your existing collections and create new collections for your artwork. These collections help categorize your listings (e.g., ‘New Arrivals,’ ‘Best Sellers,’ ‘Seasonal Art’).
Pro Tip: Take note of any collections that may need updating or reorganizing to better suit the current presentation of your artwork.
Reorganize Listings within Collections
Step 1: To refine the order of your listings within each collection, simply drag and drop listings into the preferred arrangement.
Pro Tip: Consider organizing listings by theme, color palette, or popularity to make browsing easier for customers.
Manage Your Collections
Step 1: Navigate to the Manage Collections tab to view, edit, or reorganize your collections.
Step 2: From here, you can:
- Rename existing collections.
- Delete collections you no longer need (note: the default collection cannot be removed but can be renamed).
- Rearrange the order in which collections appear on your storefront.
Create New Collections
Step 1: If necessary, create new collections by clicking Create New Collection. Organizing your artwork into themes or styles will make it easier for clients to explore and find what they’re looking for.
Pro Tip: Make sure each collection has a purpose (e.g., “Abstract Art,” “Landscape Photography,” or “Limited Editions”) to help guide customers through your work.
Ensure Collection Visibility
Step 1: Collections with no listings will automatically remain invisible to customers. This keeps your storefront looking clean and professional until you're ready to populate them.
Pro Tip: Only add listings to a collection when it’s ready to go live to avoid empty or incomplete sections.
Preview Your Storefront
Step 1: After making changes, view your storefront to check how your collections and listings appear.
Step 2: Confirm that the order of your collections and listings is visually appealing and easy for clients to navigate.
Quick Tips for Success
- Regularly Update Your Collections: Keep your storefront fresh by frequently reviewing and updating collections as your offerings change.
- Use Drag-and-Drop for Efficiency: This feature allows you to quickly and easily reorganize listings within collections.
- Preview Frequently: Make sure to preview your storefront often to ensure that your changes are visually cohesive and customer-friendly.
