Select Your Listing
Step 1: Log in to your Simply Framed account and navigate to the Listings Page.
Step 2: Choose the listing for which you’d like to create a variant.
Add a Size Variant
Step 1: Click the Add a Size option to create a new size for your artwork.
Step 2: Adjust the dimensions of the new variant. Keep an eye on any DPI alerts to ensure your image quality meets the required standards for printing if scaling up.
Step 3: Select “Create Size Variant”
Pro Tip: Ensure the new size maintains the same aspect ratio to ensure consistency.
Set the Art Price for the Size Variant
Step 1: Determine the base art price for this size variant, considering art value at the specific size and competitor pricing.
Step 2: Create the size variant by entering the pricing details and saving your changes.
Note: You will be able to adjust and round the total price for this new size in the next step.
Adjust the Markup and Total Price
Step 1: After creating the size variant, click edit next to the new variant, click to second editing page, and adjust the total price for this specific size.
Step 2: Ensure the final price reflects the value of the artwork, taking into account the new size.
Add Framing Options
Step 1: For framed options, click Add a Frame under the specific Listing and change the service to Print and Frame.
Step 2: Customize the framing options by selecting:
- Frame Molding: Choose a style that complements your artwork.
- Mat Size: If applicable, adjust the matting to enhance the display.

Set the Price for the Framed Variant
Step 1: For each framed variant, determine the price by factoring in the market value and size
Step 2: Apply a markup and adjust the total price to ensure profitability while staying competitive in the market.
Pro Tip: Framing options can increase the perceived value of your artwork, so consider this when setting prices.
Repeat for Additional Size Variants
Step 1: Repeat the process for each additional size variant:
- Start by adding a new size.
- Then edit the variant to include framing options as needed.
Step 2: For each variant, review the pricing and framing selections to ensure consistency.
If you are adding framing for a size variant other than the original Listing’s size, you will need to first make a new size variant at the new size and then edit the variant and update the service to Print & Frame or Mail-In.
