What mat size should I choose?

To best enhance your art, we recommend the following mat size guidelines per mat style

Single Mat, Double Mat, & Island Mat styles

• art size <8x10"  = mat size 1.5"
• art size <11x14"  = mat size 2.5"
• art size <16x20"  = mat size 3"
• art size <24x30"  =  mat size 3"+ or No Mat

Floated Mat Style

• When floating, we recommend 1.5” all around for all art sizes.

What mat sizes can I choose?

• Custom sizing from 1.25" to 5" in the Designer.
• For sizes above 5" please email us at hello@simplyframed.com

Can I customize the size per mat border?

• Yes, to customize by side, left, right, top, or bottom, email us at hello@simplyframed.com
