How do I place an order for framing my digital press article?

1. Choose your frame style and size.

Size Options: 11x14" (Small), 16x20" (Medium), and 30x20" (Large)

Frame Style: Gallery Black, Gallery White, Gallery Natural, Gallery Dark Walnut, Certificate Black and Gold, Certificate Gold, Metal Gallery Bright White, New School Metal Matte Black, and New School Metal Warm Silver. 

2. Provide the article link* and checkout with your order.

*Please note we do not accept PDFs or digital magazines

What happens after I place my order?

Once your order is placed, our team will email you about any specific design requests or notes. Within 5 business days, our design team will email you the completed design. Once completed, your frame enters production within 1 business day. The final frame is shipped after 6-12 business days. Please note that if we need to make any changes to the order, such as upgrading the frame size, this may add 1 to 2 business days to the order timeline.

What size do you recommend?

We recommend selecting your article size based on the number of words you’d like to include in your article, see below: 

• Small: Up to 600 words + 1 photo 
• Medium: 600-1200 words + 2 photos 
• Large: 1200-1750 words + 3 photos

What's included in each frame?

Each frame includes a Bright White mat with two openings: one for the publication header and one for the article as well as hanging hardware for easy installation at home.

Can I choose a different frame size or mat configuration?

Currently, we only offer the specified frame sizes with two mat openings, one for the publication header and the second for the article.

Will I get to approve the design before it enters production? 

We will provide a 24-hour window for you to review the design for any typo-related revisions. Please note that design revisions are not included. Examples of design revisions include the layout of the article, image placement, spacing, and content.

Our designer experts will make sure the layout cohesively includes the provided text, photos, and any initial requests. Specific design requests (images, additional content), can be made within 24 hours before the design process begins.

Is there is design fee?

Each Online Article has a nonrefundable design fee of $40. If you would like to cancel your order once receiving the design our team will refund the frame and shipping costs minus the design fee. 

If you'd like to make edits beyond typos or previously requested information the additional design cost is $25 per round. Please note, that each round of revisions can add 2-3 additional business days to your order timeline. 

If you'd like to purchase a design for a custom-size frame or Print Only, the design prices are as follows:

• $30 small (11 x 14" and up)
• $40 medium (16 x 20" and up)
• $60 large (30 x 20" and up)

What if my article requires login credentials or has a paywall?

Please provide our team with one of the following:

• Login credentials or necessary information for articles with restricted access. Please note, your order will be on hold until we receive this information.
• Image files and article text in a copy-paste format (e.g., Google Doc). Please do not share the information in a PDF format. 

Can you rush my design/production?

Unfortunately, we cannot rush production, as each design is custom-made and frames are produced to order. 

Can you frame articles from physical magazines?

We no longer accept physical articles for framing. Articles must be in a copy/pasteable format with downloadable images. We highly recommend local framers for framing physical magazines or newspapers.

Do you accept PDF format articles?

No, we do not accept articles in PDF or magazine PDF format as we are unable to easily manipulate the pdf image into a cohesive design. That said, most PDFs are already pre-designed and make a great gift when reformatted as a jpg and uploaded with our Print & Frame service.
