What if my frame is damaged during shipment?

Simply Framed shipments are always insured with a base amount of $100 with our carrier, FedEx. This applies to artwork shipping to us and final products shipping away from us. You're welcome to add additional insurance (up to $1,000) anytime prior to transit, for a fee. If you'd like to add insurance to a shipment, please email hello@simplyframed.com with your order number and the value of your artwork.

If a frame is damaged en route to you or to your customer, we're happy to replace the frame at no additional cost to you. Please email  hello@simplyframed.com with 14 days of receiving the package, along with your order number and photos of the damage.
The $100 insurance goes towards the additional production costs for the replacement and we will cover the additional shipping costs.
If the artwork is damaged in the frame during shipping, we ask you provide a replacement print for the reframe. If the piece can be digitally printed, we can print in house with the closest paper match we stock.
Sometimes a box can look perfect, yet torque or mishandling can cause elements of the frame to loosen. We've worked hard to develop optimal packaging solutions to protect against this. If you ever have any suggestions or feedback, let us know by emailing hello@simplyframed.com.
