What are my glazing options?

We offer Standard UV Acrylic, 99% UV Acrylic, UV Non-Glare Acrylic, 99% UV Non-Glare Acrylic, and Museum-Quality Acrylic.

  • UV Acrylic - Our Standard Acrylic filters up to 82-85% of UV rays, protecting your artwork over the years. Shatter-resistant.
  • Non-Glare Acrylic - We recommend Non-Glare Acrylic for images that will be across from windows or hung in a very bright space, to reduce the amount of reflection off of your piece. This acrylic filters up to 82-85% of UV rays and has an intentional soft focus to it that helps cut down on the glare. Not available for floated or shadowboxed frames.
  • 99% UV Acrylic - We recommend 99% UV Acrylic for pieces that will hang in a very bright area of very sunny climates, and artwork made from non-archival mediums which may be highly affected by exposure to sunlight.
  • 99% UV Non-Glare Acrylic - We recommend 99% Non-Glare Acrylic for images that will be across from windows or hung in a very bright space, to decrease the amount of reflection off of your piece and for artwork that requires the maximum amount of UV protection. This acrylic has an intentional soft focus to it that helps cut down on the glare. Not available for floated or shadowboxed frames.
  • Tru Vue Optium Museum-Quality Acrylic - If you are looking for the highest standard possible, we suggest using Optium Museum Acrylic®  by Tru Vue, Inc. for your project. Tru Vue Acrylic is anti-reflective, anti-static, scratch resistant and 99% UV filtering.
  • No Acrylic - If you'd like your piece without acrylic just let us know! While we do offer framing without Acrylic, this means your art will not be protected from the elements. This style is perfect for art made to be interacted with (For instance, scratch off or color-in maps!)
